Mary Beth Jenkins
Mary Beth has been a physical therapist for 22 years. She graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio in 1994 and spent the first few years of her career traveling the United States providing relief staff for therapy clinics in need. In 1998 she settled In Randolph County, and has provided therapy services in a variety of settings throughout the area, including outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing and home care.
Mary Beth spent 3 years as an orthopedic service line manager where she worked directly with orthopedic surgeons on protocols that involved every piece of the orthopedic experience. This included the operating room, physician offices, rehabilitation and the emergency department. After spending time in many clinics Mary Beth decided that the people of Randolph County deserved a different type of therapy experience.
“I’ve been a patient several times in my life. I know how important it is to be comfortable with your therapist and with your therapy environment. I wanted to be able to show patients that therapy can be enjoyable and fun. I am dedicated to providing an atmosphere that allows every patient to leave our clinic feeling better than they did when they walked in”.
In her spare time Mary Beth enjoys spending time with her fiancé, her friends, and her family in both Ohio and North Carolina. She enjoys traveling, reading and hanging with her two furry children, River and Ryder.
